The Additional Review is a non-ordinary site visit required by a Decision Letter within a particular time frame. It may be required of any birth center engaged or enrolled in CABC accreditation in order to confirm requirements are met.
A ‘facility-only’ site visit is a non-ordinary site visit and is required for new or renovated facilities of currently CABC-accredited birth centers when CABC has determined that only facility changes have taken place.
Payments are due for the Additional Review site visit as follows:
- First half of total is due 6 months prior to required site visit date.
- Second half is due 3 months prior to required site visit date.
The Additional Review site visit will be scheduled after the Additional Review fee is paid in full. This fee is not included in the monthly program.
